Reform UK is a hard-right political party led by Nigel Farage. It wants Britain's Royal Navy to send migrant boats back to France.

The party calls it the biggest military move in the Channel since World War II. They named the plan Operation Fortress.

It would also stop boats coming from Belgium. Spokesman Zia Yusuf said the plan could go ahead without France agreeing.

He said it would follow international law because it aims to help migrants. But experts say countries need agreement before sending migrants elsewhere.

Yusuf admitted the move could cause a disagreement with France. He said Britain could change the €766 million migration deal made with France in 2026.

France objected to the plan. Experts and other political parties also criticized it. The announcement came the same day new Labour Prime Minister Andy Burnham promised tough action on small boat crossings.
