Russia Attacks Ukraine; Kyiv Strikes Oil Tankers

Russia launched 268 drones and one missile at Ukraine overnight. At least three people were killed.

In Odesa, drones hit homes and port buildings. Two people died there and five were hurt.

In Kherson Oblast a drone hit a minibus. One person died and seven were hurt.

A second minibus was also hit nearby hours later. Ukraine then struck Russia's oil export ports and ships.

Ukraine hit a key loading port on the Baltic Sea. Three tankers were also hit.

Ukraine says the tankers were used to move Russian oil illegally. Ukraine calls these ships part of Russia's shadow fleet.

Klear Note Russia and Ukraine have been at war since 2022. Both sides regularly attack each other's military and infrastructure targets. Shadow fleet ships help Russia sell oil despite international sanctions.
