Russia Cuts Tanks From Victory Day Parade

Russia will hold its Victory Day parade on May 9 in Moscow. But tanks and missile systems will not appear.

This is the first time in almost 20 years the parade has no military vehicles. Russia fears long-range Ukrainian drone attacks on the hardware.

The parade marks the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two. Russia said the 'current situation' was the reason for the change. A Kremlin spokesman also pointed to Ukrainian 'terrorist activity.' The parade will still include military aircraft and marching troops.
