Russia Strikes Kyiv Region with Oreshnik Missiles
Russia launched a large drone and missile attack on Kyiv and nearby areas. At least 4 people were killed and dozens were injured.
Russia used the Oreshnik missile to strike Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. The Oreshnik reportedly travels over 10 times the speed of sound.
France and Germany condemned Russia's use of the Oreshnik. French President Macron and EU leader Kaja Kallas also criticized the attack.
President Zelenskyy had warned of a large attack before it happened. A UN Security Council emergency meeting was held after the strike.
