Russia Strikes Ukraine Again Killing at Least 21
Russia launched its second major attack on Ukraine in under a week. It fired 68 missiles and 351 drones across the country on Monday.
At least 21 people were killed. In Kyiv at least 15 people died and 56 others were hurt.
Ballistic missiles heavily damaged apartment blocks and other buildings. Ukraine warned it is running short of interceptor missiles.
All 29 ballistic missiles fired hit their targets. President Zelenskyy said at least 23 people were killed in the Kyiv region.
He said the attack showed growing gaps in Ukraine's air defenses. Zelenskyy called for strong decisions at talks after the strikes.
The attack happened the day before a NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey. Monday's strike followed a deadlier attack on Thursday July 2.
That earlier attack killed at least 31 people in Kyiv. It was the deadliest strike on the capital this year.
