A Russian drone strike hit central Kyiv, Ukraine before 8am on 25 September. The strike killed a 14-year-old and injured at least seven others.

Rescue workers cleared rubble from damaged buildings. Residents said sirens gave little time to react.

The attack happened during a larger overnight assault on Kyiv. Reports said the assault also damaged energy infrastructure.

Other drone attacks hit logistics and postal sites in Kyiv. Russia's Defense Ministry said it hit Ukrainian defense facilities and logistics centers.
