Russian Military Officer Shot in Moscow
A senior Russian military officer was shot today in Moscow. Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseyev was shot several times.
The shooting happened in his apartment building stairwell. An unidentified person fired the shots then fled.
Alekseyev was taken to hospital after the attack. He is a deputy director of military intelligence. He also works in Russia's military general staff.
