Russian Strikes Hit Ukraine After Peace Talks Agreement
Russian missile and drone strikes hit Ukraine overnight. The strikes came hours after an agreement to hold peace talks.
Euronews reported that Ukrainian authorities said at least nine people were killed. The attacks happened across Ukraine during the past 24 hours.
Euronews also reported strike fires in Kyiv and the Kharkiv region. United Press International reported at least four people killed overnight and 34 injured.
ABC News reported one person killed and 22 injured. The casualty numbers cover different areas and time periods.
Klear Note — Agreeing to peace talks does not itself stop the fighting. Ballistic missiles rise high before descending toward targets.
