Savannah Guthrie to Host Wordle TV Game Show

Savannah Guthrie will host a new TV game show based on Wordle. Guthrie is best known as the host of NBC's Today show.

Jimmy Fallon will produce the show. The New York Times announced the project on Monday.

Teams of three players will compete for a cash prize. Filming starts over the summer in Manchester, England.

The show will air in the UK and US from next year. Other countries may get their own versions in local languages.

This is Guthrie's first new on-screen project since April. She had stepped back after her mother went missing two months before that.
