Ships Pass Through US Naval Blockade

The US military set up a naval blockade of Iran's ports in the Strait of Hormuz. At least 4 ships linked to Iran passed through on Tuesday despite the blockade.

This suggests the blockade may not be fully working. China buys more Iranian oil than any other country. China urged all parties to honor a ceasefire agreement.

Klear Note The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman. About one-third of world's oil passes through it. A blockade tries to stop ships from entering or leaving Iran's ports.
