Shots Fired Near US Consulate in Toronto Again

Shots were fired near the US consulate in Toronto early Monday. No one was injured.

Police have not identified any suspects. A white sedan was seen fleeing the scene.

Police said they were alerted by the sound of a gunshot. They found evidence a weapon had been fired outside the building.

The building is on University Avenue. Police sealed off the area afterward.

This is the second shooting at this location in four months. The first happened on March 10 2026.

Two suspects in a white Honda CR-V fired multiple rounds at the consulate. Canadian officials called that incident a national security matter.

It happened during tensions from the Iran war. Earlier synagogue shootings in Toronto also raised tensions.
