Stabbing Suspect in Court After Terror Attack
Essa Suleiman aged 45 appeared in court on 1 May 2026. He faces three counts of attempted murder.
He also faces one charge of carrying a blade in public. Two Jewish men were stabbed in Golders Green in north-west London on 29 April 2026.
A third man was attacked the same day at a different location in south London. His injuries were minor.
Police declared the attacks a terrorist incident. Britain's terror threat level was raised from substantial to severe after the attacks.
Suleiman was held in custody. His next court hearing is set for 15 May 2026.
