Taiwan Opposition Leader to Visit China
China invited Taiwan's opposition leader Cheng Li-wun to visit. Cheng leads Taiwan's main opposition party.
She accepted the invitation. The visit will happen April 7 to 12.
This is the first such visit by a sitting opposition leader since 2016. That was about 10 years ago.
The visit aims to improve relations between China and Taiwan. It also comes before a planned Trump summit.
