Trump Administration Stops EPA Climate Rules
The Trump administration took away an EPA rule from 2009. The rule said greenhouse gases harm public health.
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin officially ended the rule. Now the EPA cannot regulate greenhouse gases.
The rule had guided US climate efforts for many years. It required the EPA to limit greenhouse gas emissions. This revocation removes the EPA's power to fight climate change.
