Trump Claims Iran Sent Oil Ships as Gift
Trump recently said Iran let oil ships pass as a gift. He called it a 'present' to the United States.
Trump said Iran sent 8 big boats of oil. He also claimed Iran sent 2 more boats to apologize.
The ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz. That is a waterway between Iran and Oman.
Trump said the United States has big talks happening with Iran. Iran denied that direct talks are taking place.
Klear Note — The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman. About one-third of world's oil passes through it. Iran controls this chokepoint and can restrict oil flow.
