Trump Delays Iran Attack After Gulf Leaders Ask
Trump delayed a planned attack on Iran. Gulf leaders from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE asked him to wait.
The delay was meant to let peace talks continue. Trump told military leaders to stay ready for a full assault.
He gave only two to three days for a deal. Trump is also thinking about restarting military action if talks fail.
Iran's army warned it would open new fronts against the United States if attacks resume. Pakistan is working to help end the conflict at many levels. Pakistan's interior minister met the Iranian president in Tehran on May 18.
