Trump Meets Germany Leader After US-Israel Iran Strikes
President Trump met Germany's leader Friedrich Merz at the White House today. This was Trump's first meeting with a foreign leader since joining Israel in strikes on Iran.
The two leaders planned to discuss the war in Ukraine. They also planned to discuss trade between the European Union and the United States.
US Speaker Mike Johnson said the US had to attack Iran. He said the strikes protected US interests.
Three officials will brief Congress on the Iran strikes. They are Rubio, Hegseth, and Caine.
