Trump Warns Iran as Drones Hit Gulf Allies

President Trump posted a warning to Iran on social media. He said the "clock is ticking" and Iran would have "nothing left" without a peace deal.

Drones struck near a nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates. Drones also hit Saudi Arabia.

UAE leaders said a drone hit an electrical generator outside the Barakah plant. Nuclear safety was not affected and no radiation was released.

These attacks hit US allies in the Gulf region. Peace talks between the US and Iran have stalled.

But Iran said Monday it had replied to the latest US proposal. Iran's foreign ministry said talks with Washington are continuing through Pakistani mediators.

Trump is set to meet national security advisors on May 19. They will discuss possible military action against Iran.

Klear Note The UAE and Saudi Arabia are US allies in the Middle East. Iran and the US have had tense relations for decades. Nuclear power plants need safety because radiation can harm people.
