Twin Bombs Kill 7 in Pakistan's Bannu District
Two roadside bombs killed at least 7 people in Pakistan on Friday. The blasts happened in Bannu district in the northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Bannu district borders Afghanistan. The first bomb hit a passenger truck and killed five people.
The second bomb went off as rescuers helped the wounded. It killed two more people and hurt three others.
Both bombs were set off by remote control. No group said it was responsible.
