Uber Earnings Miss But Bookings Beat Forecasts
Uber made $13.2 billion in revenue in early 2026. That was slightly below what analysts expected.
A $1.5 billion loss on investments hurt its profits. Net profit fell to $263 million from $1.8 billion a year earlier.
But other results were strong. Operating income rose 57% to $1.9 billion.
Earnings per share grew 44% to $0.72. Total bookings reached $53.7 billion beating analyst forecasts of $52.9 billion.
Uber also gave an upbeat outlook for the next quarter. It expects bookings of $56.25 billion to $57.75 billion.
Klear Note — Uber is a ride-sharing and food delivery company. Bookings show customer demand; revenue is money Uber keeps after paying drivers.
