UK PM Meets Social Media Leaders
Prime Minister Keir Starmer met social media leaders on Thursday. They came from Meta, TikTok, Google, and X. The meeting was at Downing Street in London, United Kingdom.
Starmer said social media may be putting children at risk. The meeting was about possible new rules for these platforms.
One idea is banning social media for people under 16. Australia already has a similar ban.
