UK Rejects Blair and Trump on Iran Airstrikes
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper rejected Trump's criticism of Britain. Cooper also rejected former Prime Minister Tony Blair's call.
At a private lunch on Friday, Blair said Prime Minister Keir Starmer should have backed Trump. Trump had ordered airstrikes on Iran.
Blair said the UK should have supported those airstrikes. Cooper disagreed. Cooper said Britain must learn from Iraq War mistakes.
Klear Note — The Iraq War (2003-2011) killed hundreds of thousands. Britain supported that war and faced criticism for the decision. Cooper references those lessons when discussing Iran policy.
