UK Sets Screen Time Rules for Young Kids
The UK government issued new screen time guidance today. Children aged two to five should have at most 1 hour of screens daily.
Children under two should avoid screens. The only exception is shared activities like video calls or looking at photos together.
The guidance also suggests avoiding fast-paced children's content. Screens should be shared with a child where possible. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his government will not leave parents to face this battle alone.
Klear Note — Screen time for young children affects brain development and sleep. Many parents struggle with device use at home.
