Ukraine and Saudi Arabia Sign Defense Deal
Ukraine and Saudi Arabia signed a defense deal recently. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Gulf leaders to seek support.
The United States is reportedly weighing sending military aid to the Middle East instead of Ukraine. This is because the Iran conflict is straining United States weapons supplies.
Zelenskyy said Saudi Arabia faces the same Iranian-made drone attacks as Ukraine. Iran supplies these drones to Russia, which fires them at Ukraine.
Both nations share security concerns about Iran. The deal helps Ukraine find new partners as United States support may change.
