Ukraine Drones Hit Saint Petersburg Oil Terminal and Naval Base

Ukrainian drones struck an oil terminal and port in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The attack happened overnight on July 4, 2026.

Drones also hit the Baltic port of Vysotsk about 170 km northwest of Saint Petersburg. The Kronstadt naval base near Saint Petersburg was struck too.

Saint Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov called the attack large-scale. He said no one was hurt and the damage had been dealt with. The port of Vysotsk handles oil, grain, coal and liquefied natural gas.

Klear Note Ukraine and Russia have been at war since 2022. Ukraine uses drones to attack Russian energy and military targets. Saint Petersburg is Russia's second-largest city and major port.
