Ukraine Intel Worker Held Over Monaco Bombing Suspect Death
A woman wanted over a bombing in Monaco was found dead near Kyiv, Ukraine. Anastasiia Berezovska had a gunshot wound to the head.
The bombing last week targeted Ukraine-born business tycoon Vadym Yermolaiev. He was seriously injured but has since come out of a coma.
His partner remains seriously ill and their son was also hurt. Berezovska was wanted for attempted murder and placing an explosive device in a public place.
Monaco authorities had issued an Interpol Red Notice for her arrest. After the bombing she fled into France then Italy and Germany before being found dead.
Ukrainian prosecutors said two men were arrested over her death. One of them works for Ukraine's military intelligence service. He said he killed Berezovska together with another suspect.
