Ukraine's Large Drone Attack Kills Six in Russia

Ukraine launched hundreds of drones across Russia on Sunday. It was one of Ukraine's largest attacks of the war.

Reports say at least six people died in Russia. One death was in Moscow region and five in Rostov region.

France 24 said 600 drones took part in the attack. The Associated Press said 600 drones headed toward Moscow.

That number was not confirmed for the whole attack. Russia's Defense Ministry said it destroyed 822 drones overnight.

The Associated Press said Russian strikes killed five people in Ukraine. Ukraine has increased long-range drone and missile attacks.

These attacks increasingly target Russian military industries and energy facilities. A drone entered Romanian airspace. A Spanish F-18 fighter jet shot it down.
