Ukrainian Drones Hit Russia, Stray Into Baltics
Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on Russia on Wednesday. A drone from Russian airspace struck a power plant in Estonia.
Another drone crashed into Latvia. Latvia's Prime Minister said the drone was likely Ukrainian and went astray.
A third drone also crashed in Lithuania. The attack sparked a fire at Russian port Ust-Luga. That port is a major oil export hub near Estonia.
Klear Note — Ukraine and Russia are at war. Drones sometimes stray into neighboring countries during attacks. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are NATO members near Russia.
