United States FDA Approves Eli Lilly Weight Loss Pill
The United States FDA approved a new weight loss pill today. It is called Foundayo and is made by Eli Lilly.
Foundayo is a weight loss medicine taken once daily by mouth. It helps patients who want to avoid injections.
Foundayo is the second oral weight loss pill on the market. Novo Nordisk's Wegovy pill came to market nearly three months earlier. Both pills are now available as oral options.
