US Ambassador Condemns Settler Attacks in West Bank
Mike Huckabee is the US Ambassador to Israel. He visited Turmus Ayya on Saturday.
This is a Palestinian town in the occupied West Bank. He met Palestinian Americans there.
Some are relatives of US citizens killed by Israeli settlers. During a town hall Huckabee condemned attacks on Palestinians.
He called the attacks terrorist attacks. The visit followed international criticism over settler attacks on the town.
Settler attacks have increased across the West Bank recently. Huckabee had also called settlers terrorists after unrest in Qusra. Qusra is another area in the West Bank.
