US and Nigeria Kill ISIS Leader in Lake Chad Raid
US and Nigerian forces killed a senior Islamic State leader. His name was Abu-Bilal al-Minuki.
The raid hit a compound in the Lake Chad basin. Trump announced the operation. He called al-Minuki "the most active terrorist in the world." Trump also called him "second in command of ISIS globally." Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu confirmed the operation.
