US Army Helicopter Crashes Near Strait of Hormuz
A US Army Apache helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz off Oman. Both crew members were rescued and not injured.
President Trump confirmed the pilots are fine. The two crew members were found within two hours of the crash.
It is not clear if Iran shot down the helicopter or if it failed. The crash happened as a cease-fire in the region grew fragile.
Klear Note — The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman. One-third of world's oil passes through it. The region has high military tension.
