US Charges 11 in Green Card Marriage Scheme
The US Department of Justice charged 11 people this week. They are accused of running a green card scheme.
Attorney General Blanche announced the charges on Wednesday. The scheme allegedly helped Chinese nationals get green cards.
It reportedly used fake marriages to US citizens. Authorities say the group arranged more than 1,000 fake weddings.
These weddings involved false documents and fake relationships. Officials called it one of the largest marriage fraud cases in US history.
