US Delegation Walks Out During Iran President's UN Speech

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian spoke at the UN on Wednesday. It was his first speech there since conflict began.

The US and Israel had launched a conflict with Iran. His speech came one day after Trump spoke there.

Trump said he could "annihilate the Islamic Republic." He also said he would "drive them into hell." Pezeshkian responded by calling Iran a victim of US "terrorism." He said Trump had called Iranians terrorists. Pezeshkian said Iran would not surrender.

But he said Iran remained open to diplomacy. He said Iran would not accept force.

The US delegation walked out during Pezeshkian's response. Most of Iran's delegation had walked out during Trump's speech. That happened the day before.
