One shooting happened in Houston Texas.

The other happened in Biddeford Maine.

ICE has been ordered to pause most vehicle stops.

Sources say the pause is temporary.

It allows more officer training.

In Houston agents shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo on July 7.

He was a 52-year-old Mexican man.

ICE called it a targeted operation.

Salgado Araujo was driving a construction crew to a job site.

Three men with him disputed ICE's account.

ICE said he tried to ram an agent's vehicle.

Harris County's district attorney opened a separate investigation.

Reports say nearly 20 subpoenas have been issued.

In Maine agents shot and killed Joan Sebastian Guerrero.

He was a 26-year-old Colombian man.

The shooting happened in Biddeford on Monday morning.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin first said Guerrero was a target of an ICE investigation.

Mullin also said Guerrero tried to weaponize his vehicle.

That account was later changed.

Officials confirmed Guerrero was not the investigation's target.

Homeland Security said his car was instead trying to flee.

Neither victim was the intended target of these ICE operations.

The Maine shooting sparked protests against ICE.

Homeland Security said neither shooting was caught on body camera.

It blamed the missing footage on past government shutdowns.

Reports say cameras have reached over half of ICE field offices.

Full rollout is expected within 60 days.

These shootings are part of a string of ICE incidents under President Trump.
