US Rescues Second F-15E Crew Member
A second F-15E crew member was rescued by US forces. The fighter jet went down over Iran.
The rescued officer was a colonel. He was a weapons systems officer who had injuries.
Trump called it one of the most daring rescue operations in US history. Trump also warned Iran it had 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. He said if not, 'all Hell will reign down on them.'
Klear Note — The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman. About one-third of world's oil passes through it daily. Closing it would disrupt global energy supplies and trade.
