US Senate Passes Housing Bill 89-10
The US Senate passed a housing bill. The vote was 89 to 10.
The bill is called the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. It helps first-time home buyers.
It also bans large investors from buying single-family homes. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Tim Scott wrote the bill together.
House lawmakers want changes before voting on it. They worry the investor ban may reduce rental homes.
