Zelenskyy Rejects Ousted Minister's Election Call
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized his former Defence Minister. Mykhailo Fedorov had called for elections during the war with Russia.
Zelenskyy said Fedorov was wrong to make that call. Fedorov made the call for a wartime vote last week.
Zelenskyy repeated his view that elections during active fighting would split Ukraine. He said this could divide the country at a critical moment. Fedorov served as Ukraine's Defence Minister before being removed from the role.
